How are kids bikes measured?

It is important to get the right sized bike for the comfort and safety of your child. The best way to find the right size child's bike is to get the child on the bike. Ensure the child can put their toes on the floor when sitting on the saddle and it also allows enough room for them to stand over the top tube when they're not sitting on the saddle, If not possible measure the childs height and match it up to the correct wheel size. For example: 16" Bike is suitable for 5-7yrs child.

What safety gear is recommended for bikes?

Always wear a helmet when cycling a bike. Wearing a helmet will help protect your face and head while cycling, and can prevent head injuries. It is important that the helmet fits well; it should not be too loose or too tight.
