New Crafting System
Collect DIY recipes and gather materials to craft tools and furniture. Build bridges, paths, slopes and rivers to decorate your island. It won’t happen overnight, but with a little elbow grease, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons island can become a place to call home.

Share Your Paradise
More residents will arrive as your island improves. Help them get settled, lend a hand with tasks and send gifts. Up to 8 people registered on one Nintendo Switch can live on the same island, and up to 4 can enjoy island life at the same time. You can also play with up to 7 people either locally or online, travelling to their islands or inviting them to yours.

Summer Update – Wave 2
Ring out the summer with weekly fireworks shows during the month of August on Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Nintendo Switch. Connect to the internet and download the latest update data to access in-game events. For those with a Nintendo Switch Online membership, the update adds the ability to sleep and dream in the game, as well as a new island backup service.
