Terms and Conditions
The following general terms and conditions apply to all Smyths Toys prize promotions unless superseded by the specific terms of any individual prize promotion. By entering, you agree to these terms and conditions.
This competition is only open to residents of the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
You must be 18 or over to enter this competition. Entries made by those under the age of 18 will be disqualified. To enter this competition, entrants must comment on the Facebook competition post and answer the question “Who in their house loves the F2?”.
The competition launches on 25/05/19
All entries should be submitted by 9th June
This prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
Any comments, images or videos deemed inappropriate will be removed from the competition.
All entrants must have a valid email address.
Personal information about the participants will be shared with the prize provider in order that the prizes can be delivered.
The winning prize is for one child (6-12 years old) on Saturday 22nd June 2019 to attend the Woodley Saints football tournament as a VIP and spend some time with the F2 freestylers and prize bundle to the value of £150.
The prize winner must be accompanied by one parent or guardian on the day of the experience.
Cost of travel and accommodation will be covered to the spend of £500 for parent and child.
The runner up price is for a prize worth £49.99.
The winner will be selected at random, using a random winner tool. No correspondence will be entered into.
The winners will be contacted via a comment replying to their entry/through private Facebook message.
All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners, but if this cannot be achieved within 48 hours of initial notification, Mattel UK reserves the right to withdraw the prize entitlement and award this to another entrants.
No cash or other alternative prizes are available.
Internet access is required to enter. No postal entries will be accepted.
You may submit only one entry per person.
The prizes are for the winners only and are non- transferrable.
Employees and their immediate families of Mattel UK, its agents, third parties, and anyone else professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
Mattel accepts no responsibility for content that is lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical reason.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. The closing date for entries is at 11.45pm, on the date specified in the relevant social media post.
By entering the competition, the participant agrees to release Mattel from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the prize or with the acceptance, possession, attendance at or use of any prize (except death or personal injury caused by Mattel’s negligence, for fraud, or otherwise as prohibited by law).
The terms and conditions of this competition will be interpreted on the basis of “English law and the Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
PUBLICITY: Entrants retain their rights to any content of their submission, posted or displayed pursuant to these terms. By submitting, posting or displaying content via social media, online or in press pursuant to these terms, entrants grant The Promoter a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute such content in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed). Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and photographs of the prize winner may be requested for use by The Promoter and/or The Retailer for publicity purposes
